Occupational Health Technician

Location: Derby (with UK-wide travel as required)
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hrs per week (typically 8am–6pm)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Occupational Health Technician to join their expanding team. The role is primarily based in Derby, delivering high-quality health surveillance services, with UK travel and occasional overnight stays when required.

You’ll complete a 3-week training and induction programme, with ongoing mentoring and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry, vision tests, and baseline health checks.

  • Accurately record data and support clinical decision-making.

  • Maintain and calibrate equipment.

  • Assist with health promotion and general occupational health activities.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Understanding of GDPR and confidentiality.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Full manual UK driving licence and use of own vehicle 

  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required.
